Voting for the area’s top team saw two teams battle for the top spot. The winner of the fan voting for the OnFocus Team of the Week, January 8 to January 14 was Marshfield Gymnastics, which collected 328 votes.
Medford Boys Basketball took second place with 162 votes.
Abbotsford/Colby Boys Wrestling finished in third place with 83 votes.

- Medford Boys Basketball (nominated online) – Medford is 9-3 this season, and 5-0 in the Great Northern Conference, ahead of second place Northland Pines by half a game. The Raiders knocked off Mosinee in a tight battle this week, 69-65.
- Marshfield Gymnastics – The Tigers broke a school record in their dual meet with Medford, earning 139.05 points.
- Stevens Point Girls Basketball – The Panthers claimed a 44-41 decision over Marshfield, and in sole possession of first place in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. The Panthers also dominated in a 72-44 win over Wisconsin Rapids. SPASH is 9-4 overall, 6-0 in the WVC.
- Abbotsford/Colby Boys Wrestling – A/C wrestlers picked up a sweep in a home quad, downing Bloomer-Colfax 39-33, Osseo-Fairchild 42-24 and Marathon 45-36.
- Marathon Boys Basketball – The Raiders collected wins over Assumption(85-54) and Auburndale(65-55) to move to 8-1 in the Marawood Conference South, 10-2 overall. Marathon is tied with Newman Catholic for the conference lead, one game ahead of Auburndale.
