Marshfield Ice Rinks Now Open for Winter Fun
MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Winter enthusiasts in Marshfield have plenty of reasons to celebrate as the city’s ice rinks are officially open for the season. Whether you’re an experienced skater or a beginner looking for some outdoor fun, there are multiple locations to lace up your skates and hit the ice.

- Located at the corner of Peach & Arnold
- No warming house
- Unsupervised ice rink
- Push-button timer for lights
- Wenzel Family Plaza

All locations are open for public skating, offering an enjoyable way to embrace the winter season. Please note that these rinks are unsupervised, and skaters should bring their own safety equipment.
Indoor Public Open Skate Schedule
Public Open Skate, complete with skate rentals, is held at designated times for community enjoyment at Marshfield Area Ice Arena (at the Fairgrounds), 405 E. 17th Street.
- Saturday Evenings: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
- Early Release & No School Days: 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM
Important Reminder: If school is canceled due to weather, Open Skate will also be canceled.
Admission Prices
For City of Marshfield residents (with ID) or MYHA/Silver Laces members:
- Adults (18+): $3.00
- Youth (4-17): $2.00
For non-city residents:
- Adults (18+): $3.50
- Youth (4-17): $2.50
Skate Rental: Available for $3 during Saturday Open Skate sessions.
Special Events
- $1 Skate Nights: Enjoy skating for just $1 on select Saturdays (Jan. 11 and Feb. 8).
- Mark your calendars for holiday and no-school Open Skate dates:
- Monday, Jan. 20 – 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM
- Monday, Feb. 17 – 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM
