The Governor’s Safer At Home order has been extended to May 26. With this extension, the order specifies that libraries can provide curbside service starting April 26.

“We look forward to being able to provide material to our yearning, learning and reading homebound public through our pick up window. Our pick up window just became our most important feature,” Library Director Lori Belongia wrote in a statement.

Hours for the pick-up service will be:
9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday, April 24,
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, April 25
1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, April 26
9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday, April 27 – May 1

Hours may be adjusted later to meet changing needs and to preserve the safety of the community.

The Wisconsin DPI’s Division for Libraries and Technology has provided guidelines for libraries to use when providing this service.

“We now being the work of establishing exactly how we will provide curbside pickup at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library. I assure you that we will inform you of the details of the process and schedule of service when it is ready,” said Belongia.

The Library will remain closed to in-house visitors until the Safer At Home order is lifted or expires. Continuing services are OverDrive & Hoopla ebooks and audiobooks, Facebook Live story times, craft and book talk programs, phone service (715) 387-8494 and email reference questions to [email protected], and online resources.
