Marshfield Man Arrested for Interfering with Firefighting Operations

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – On Saturday, April 16, Marshfield Fire & Rescue responded to a garage fire on E Blodgett. Marshfield Police Department also responded to reports of a male on-scene refusing to obey orders to stay away from the fire.

According to the report, upon arrival the male continued to disobey firefighter and police officer orders to stay away from the fire. The male was arrested and transported to jail. During the investigation, the male was also found to be in possession of multiple illegal items.

A request for charges will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s office for Resisting an Officer, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC 2nd+, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Masking Agent and Interfering with Fire Fighting.
