MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The tallies are in and Marshfield has a new Mayor. Lois TeStrake will serve as the newest Mayor of Marshfield.
With 10/10 precincts reporting in Wood County, TeStrake earned 2270 votes in the Wood County section of the Mayoral voting while Bob McManus earned 1601.
There is still one Marathon County precinct that is yet to be reported.
“I’m feeling totally amazing,” said TeStrake. “I can’t believe that many people came out to support me. I’m so grateful. This is a great town and I will hold my promise for being a good mayor and a real mayor for US, and there is no ‘I’ in us.”
