Officers Shot Less-Lethal Bean Bag Rounds
On July 20th, Marshfield Police Officers were called to an incident with a man and a knife. The male subject chased social workers out of his dwelling with a knife. As police arrived he was armed with a knife and refused to listen to the officer’s demands.
Officers engaged with the subject for over 10 minutes in a stand off. The male subject then began pursuing the officers, armed with two knives. The officers on the scene utilized bean bag rounds and a K9 to subdue the individual.
The male subject was taken into custody, medically cleared and transported to Wood County Jail on numerous charges and a probation hold.
