Marshfield Police Arrest Granton Man for OWI, Weapons Violation, and Drug Possession

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – A 24-year-old Granton man was arrested early Monday morning for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), going armed while intoxicated, and possession of THC following a traffic stop at the intersection of W. 14th Street and Adams Avenue.

According to the Marshfield Police Department, officers conducted the stop at approximately 1:24 a.m. on February 24. K9 Mario was deployed for an exterior vehicle sniff, leading to further investigation. A legal blood draw was conducted, and the suspect was later released to a responsible party.

Charges are being referred to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
