MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Police Department had a busy weekend. Here are some reports that the department shared during the weekend:
April 24 – A lawnmower was stolen from a man’s front yard on South Cedar Ave. The item was for sale but not secured.
A bicycle was stolen from in front of a resident’s room at the Santa Fe Motel. The bicycling was not secured.
April 26 – A 38 year-old Unity man was arrested for OWI 4th at Peach Avenue and Second Street after failing to yield the right-of-way to another vehicle at the intersection of 4th/Peach.
A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 block of S Central Ave. A 33 year-old Chili, WI man was found in possession of multiple firearms while under the influence of an intoxicant. He was taken into custody, consented to a voluntary blood draw, and was released. A vehicle search uncovered multiple firearms, ammunition, and an open intoxicant within the vehicle.
April 27 – Called reported his 40 year-old father was threatening his mother with a knife. Officers arrived on-scene and were able to evacuate the mother and children from the residence. Entry was made and the male was taken into custody for disorderly conduct domestic related (x3) and possession of cocaine. He was transported to Wood County Jail.
