Marshfield Police Reports – July 24-28, 2024

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) –

July 24, 2024 – A man reported his phone was stolen from Walmart. Video footage was obtained of a 14 year-old Arpin male. The juvenile admitted to taking the phone, but stated he threw it in the pond when he got home. A juvenile referral will be completed.

July 25 – Complainant reported a disturbance at S Adams apartments. After investigation, a 38 year-old male was transported to Wood County Jail. Charles of battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest will be forwarded to the Wood County DA’s office.

July 27 – Officers responded to an address on S Maple for a male who hit a female. She reported she was punched in the nose, causing pain and bleeding. The male fled prior to officer arrival.

July 28 – Officers were dispatched to an address on W Veterans for a physical fight. One of the involved parties fled on foot prior to officer arrival. Charges will be requested on a 24 year-old Marshfield male for two counts of felony bail jumping.

Complainant reported a 41 year-old Marshfield male sending her text messages in violation of his open bond condition.

A woman contacted police to report that she received a phone call from her grandson, a 16 year-old Marshfield juvenile, that his birth mother 38 year-old female, strangled him. Caller is the current guardian. The birth mother was transported to Wood County Jail.

Call reported an active physical disturbance in the Walmart parking lot between two males. Officers arrived on scene and learned a 40 year-old Arpin male physically assaulted a 50 year-old Arpin male. The 40-year old was arrested.
