MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Police Reports:

September 27

Complainant reported that a line of credit had been opened in his name. He stated that he found out about this a couple of months ago through viewing Credit Karma, and then he received a billing statement. He stated he did not open this account. He was advised to contact the company and report the fraud. He later spoke with Officers and stated that the company is investigating the incident and will reach out to him within 90 days.

September 30

As a result of a traffic stop, a 63-year-old Wisconsin Rapids female and a 61-year-old Wisconsin Rapids female were taken into custody for valid body only warrants. A request for charges for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia is being forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for the 63-year-old female.

Officers responded to dispute between a 41-year-old Marshfield male and a 16-year-old Marshfield male. Both parties were separated and warned for their behavior.

Caller reported an active shed fire in his neighbor’s yard on Cedar Ave. Officers and MFRD responded and extinguished the fire. The scene was turned over to investigators.

October 1

During a traffic stop, K9 Rika indicated to the presence of a controlled substance within a vehicle. As a result a 54 year old Marshfield male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony bail jumping. He was transported to the Wood County Jail. Charges will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

Complainant requested officer’s to conduct a warrant pickup of a female living at his residence. A 35 year old Marshfield female was placed under arrest for a valid DOC warrant. While at the residence, Officer’s located various items of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Charges will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

Complainant reported a physical fight involving multiple juveniles at Melody Gardens. Upon arrival, officers conducted an investigation and determined 2 juvenile females engaged in a physical altercation and 2 juvenile males engaged in a verbal altercation. Citations will be issued and No Trespass Letters will be sent to those involved.

October 2

A traffic stop was conducted at S Vine/14th Street. K9 Zso was utilized and alerted to the odor of a controlled substance within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and 341.3 grams of Marijuana was located. The driver, a 53y/o Stevens Point male was arrested for Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of THC w/lntent to Deliver and a Probation Hold. Male was transported to Wood County Jail and charges will be requested through Wood County District Attorney’s Office

Complainant reported 2 juvenile males vandalizing the band shell located at 201 W Arnold. This officer located the juvenile males on the property and conducted an investigation. During the investigation, it was determined the males had discharged a fire extinguisher in and around the building, poured a bottle of cleaning chemicals on the building stage and forced entry into 2 locked rooms damaging the building door structure. Their parents were notified and the juveniles were released. Juvenile Referrals were
completed.

A traffic stop was conducted. During the stop K9 ZsoZso alerted to the odor of a controlled substance within the vehicle. As a result, a 35 y/o Marshfield female was arrested for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Schedule II Narcotic II and Possession of Other Non-Narcotic Prescription Drugs. Female was transported to Wood County jail and charges will be requested on the female through Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
