Marshfield Soccer Controls Throughout in Win over Merrill

Marshfield Tigers dominated Merrill from the opening whistle and cruised to a 8-0 victory Monday at Merrill. The Tigers had 6 different players score goals and and 4 others had assists.

The Tiger defense prevented the Bluejays from getting any shots on goal in the win.

2023 OnFocus Spring Sports Season Previews: ALL SPORTS

The Tigers outshot Merrill 35-0. Grace Taylor had 2 goals, Presley Franklin a goal and 2 assists, and Avery Weister had a goal and an assist to lead the Tigers. The Tigers are now 2-0 on WVC and 4-3- overall. Marshfield hosts Wausau West Thursday in what should be an early showdown in the Valley.
