Voting for the OnFocus Team of the Week saw a great battle for the top prize, with 1,134 votes cast.
When the dust settled, Marshfield Softball was named the OnFocus Team of the Week, April 3 to April 9. The Tigers collected 316 votes.
Taking second place was Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Softball, which picked up 282 votes.
Medford Baseball was third with 205 votes, right ahead of fourth place Mosinee Baseball which had 203 votes. Pittsville Baseball took 5th place with 128 votes.
OnFocus Team of the Week, April 3 to April 9
- Medford Baseball – Medford has jumped out to a 5-0 start this season after a doubleheader win over Auburndale, 10-2 and 12-4.
- Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Softball – Rapids downed Menasha 3-2 in their season-opener.
- Pittsville Baseball – The Panthers swept a doubleheader Saturday with Spencer, 6-2 and 12-4.
- Marshfield Softball (nominated online) – The Tigers opened the season with a bang at Rhinelander. The Tigers picked up an 11-1 over Rice Lake and a 16-1 win over Rhinelander. Marshfield collected 27 hits in the triangular sweep.
- Mosinee Baseball (nominated online) – Three Mosinee pitchers combined for a six inning perfect game win over Stratford on Saturday.
