Marshfield’s Alexis Mushel is in her prime competition season, with the gymnastics season winding down. As a member of the Marshfield Tigers’ Gymnastics Team, Mushel has been a key contributor to the Tigers this season.

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?
Mushel: I do gymnastics, show llamas, and spend a lot of time on the water up north in the summer.
OnFocus: What classes are you taking this year?
Mushel: AP statistics, AP economics, Medical Terminology, Biomedical innovations, English, health career connections.
OnFocus: What is your favorite class?
Mushel: This year my favorite class is Biomedical Innovations because we get to do lots of activities a normal science class wouldn’t do.
OnFocus: What are your hobbies?
Mushel: I do gymnastics, show llamas, and spend a lot of time on the water up north in the summer.
OnFocus: Who is/was your favorite teacher?
Mushel: Mrs. Dargenio.
OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?
Mushel: Sushi, I don’t usually eat many different foods.
OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?
Mushel: Country.
OnFocus: What are your plans after high school?
Mushel: Four year college, not sure where yet.
OnFocus: If they made a movie about you, and your life, what would it be called?
Mushel: ‘Same Stuff, Different Day.’
OnFocus: What sports do you play?
Mushel: Gymnastics.
OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island with?
Mushel: Taylor, she’d probably be very overwhelmed.
OnFocus: What is your most memorable moment as an athlete?
Mushel: Competing at state the past two years as a team.
OnFocus: Who is your favorite athlete?
Mushel: Olivia Dunne.
OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about playing home meets?
Mushel: Having my parents get to watch since they can’t come to away meets.
OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Marshfield Area Senior High?
Mushel: All the different opportunities.
OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?Mushel: Everyone says it goes by fast but you don’t really realize it how fast until you are actually a senior, so enjoy every moment.
