∙Strengths of your team:
oOverall most of our team doesn’t have a lot of varsity experience, however this is a
very hardworking group and they are smart ball players. We also have a good
amount of speed on the bases. Even though we don’t have a lot of varsity
experience, many of the girls play a lot of travel ball at high levels-all of that will
help once the WVC games start. We look forward to continuing to carry on the
proud tradition of Marshfield softball.
∙Conference outlook:
oThe Wisconsin Valley Conference is one of the best conferences in the state. I
believe every team will be competitive and can beat anyone on any given day.
Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, as well as DC Everest are bringing back a strong
contingent of players and should definitely be in the mix for a WVC title. I also
believe Marshfield will be very competitive and work very hard to be included in the
mix. Every game will be important and no games will be taken for granted.
