OnFocus – You may have seen utility crews from Marshfield Utilities out and about over the past couple of weeks. They have been taking down light poles around Marshfield, specifically ones on Veterans Parkway to be repainted.
The project began last fall and will be concluded in May.
Marshfield Utilities Electric, Communications & Gas Manager Tony Nelson said they have just finished pulling the poles and now the painting process will begin.
“The last of the poles needing painting were pulled today and will be painted and allowed to cure before re-installing,” Nelson said. “This painting should last for many years into the future.”
Keep an eye out over the next month to see the updated poles on Marshfield streets.
