Discolored Water May Occur
Marshfield (OnFocus) – Beginning at 3:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 25th, Marshfield Utilities will be flushing sections of water main on the north side of Marshfield.
During this time there is a possibility of pressure fluctuations and water discoloration in the north-central portions of Marshfield. These conditions are normal during these flushing procedures.
“We advise not to wash any clothing during the a.m. hours especially if you have discolored water,” they stated. “Discoloration usually clears up by running your cold water through the faucet for 2 to 5 minutes or until it clears up. If your water does not clear up after several minutes, please call our office at 715-387-1195.”
