Comments:

This was a huge win for us.  Spash came into tonight’s match with a 17-1 record and were leading the conference with 2 wins.  Early on, I thought Spash did a great job of keeping us in out of system attacks with outstanding deep serving on us.  Our block was huge tonight.  We ended up with 12 total block kills along with many other attacks we were able to slow down or keep on their side.  I thought this was a big advantage for our team tonight that helped propel us to this win.  In game two, Spash got us down early and then kept the lead for most of the game.  We finally, got the lead at 20-19 and were able to hold them off for the win.  This was a huge turning point for the match.  We used that momentum swing and jump out early on them and finished game 3 strong.  I was really proud of the girls tonight.  It was a great atmosphere and the level of play between both teams in games 1 and 2 was at a really high level.  Numerous times there were rallies that went back and forth multiple times showcasing very good athletes on both sides of the net.
