MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – A 40-year-old Marshfield woman faces multiple drug-related charges after a police investigation uncovered various controlled substances at her residence on South Cedar Avenue.
According to the official police report, the incident occurred on January 13, 2025, and was initiated after authorities received information alleging that the woman had given her 14-year-old daughter suspected marijuana. The Marshfield Police Department responded to the residence and took the woman into custody. During the arrest, she attempted to conceal substances in the bathroom.
Officers recovered suspected cocaine from the bathroom. Subsequently, a search of the woman’s bedroom, conducted under Wisconsin Act 79, led to the discovery of additional quantities of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, THC, methamphetamine, and cocaine.
The woman was transported to the Wood County Jail. Charges are being referred to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for further review and potential prosecution.
