OnFocus – A traffic stop was conducted at the corner of East Veterans Pkwy and South Vine Ave at around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Officer Fox and K9 Rika were requested to respond to the scene. K9 Rika indicated to the presence of a controlled substance from within the vehicle.
As a result, a 25-year-old Marshfield female was taken into custody. The female was cited for OWI 1st offense.
A request for charges is being forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for possession of Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping.
