Area Division 1 gymnasts competed in sectional play on Saturday with berths on the line for the WIAA State Gymnastics Meet, held Friday and Saturday, March 3rd and 4th, at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School.
Marshfield’s Ellie Jensen punched her ticket to state with a runnerup finish on the uneven bars. Jensen’s score of 8.875 placed her second behind event winner Ava Krista of Chippewa Falls/McDonell’s 9.15.
