STEVENS POINT – Marshfield’s Morgan Meyer tied for eighth place at the fourth leg of the Wisconsin Valley Girls Golf Tournament on Tuesday at Stevens Point Country Club.
Meyer shot a 51 to tie for eighth place with Olivia Fernstaedt of D.C. Everest, and remains in 10th place in the overall individual standings with three meets remaining.
Marshfield finished fifth with a score of 236. Stevens Point won for the fourth-straight time with a score of 178, easily outdistancing the rest of the field. Wisconsin Rapids (213), D.C. Everest (214), and Wausau West/East (215) all came within two shots of each other, finished second through fourth.
Anna Weis tied for 11th with a 54, Bryssa Lens shot a 65, and Paige Bulgrin had a 66 for the Tigers.
The fifth leg of the tournament is Friday at Bull’s Eye Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
