The Martin Luther Spartans won the WIAA Division 3 State Championship on their first trip to the state tournament defeating Waupun 58-49.
Martin Luther did not trail in the game and was tied with the Warriors of Waupun three times for a total of 79 seconds on their way to a 9 point victory.
The Spartans were led by Ace Evans with 20 points, Trequan Carrington scored 19.
A balanced Waupun attack was led by Reece Homan who scored 16, along with Marcus Domsak who put in 15, Trevor VandeZande added 14.
