Medford Raider Baseball’s comeback attempt comes up short in a 12-7.

Medford was led at the plate by Evan Czarnezki, who went 2-4 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Evan Wilkins added an 0-0 day with 3 walks and a run scored.

Will Wojcik got the start, going 1.1 and giving up 8 runs, only 3 earned, on 3 hits, 5 walks, and one strike out. Ryder Kraschnewski went the next 4 innings, giving up 4 runs, 2 earned, on 6 hits, 2 walks, and 1 strikeout. Parker Lissner went the final .2 of an inning, giving up just 1 hit.

Marshfield was led at the plate by Chase Robinson, who went 2-4, with a run scored and an RBI. Conner Vanderberg went 1-4 with 3 runs scored.

Evan Valverly got the start, going 3.1, giving up 5 runs, all earned, on 2 hits, 6 walks, and 4 strikeouts. Bryce Schade pitched the next 1.1, giving up 1 earned run, on 1 hit, and 4 walks. Vanderberg pitched the final 2.1, giving up 1 earned run, on 1 hit and 5 strikeouts.

Medford next heads north to Tomahawk on Thursday, and Marshfield heads to DC Everest on Tuesday.
