Voters showed support for top teams in Central Wisconsin, and it was Medford Football which picked up 415 votes and earned the title of OnFocus Team of the Week, September 1 – September 7.
Marshfield Girls Cross Country earned second place with an impressive 325 votes. D.C. Everest Boys Cross Country finished in third place with 79 votes.
OnFocus Team of the Week, September 1 – September 7
- Marshfield Girls Cross Country – The Tigers captured the girls’ title at the Marathon Cross Country Invitational.
- Edgar Football – Edgar improved to 2-1 on the season with a resounding 41-14 win over Auburndale. Maverick Butt and Will Hackel had three touchdowns each for the Wildcats.
- Medford Football – Medford downed previously unbeaten Antigo 46-12, improving to 2-1 on the season. Paxton Rothmeier rushed for 207 yards on 11 carries and four touchdowns in the Raiders’ win.
- Pittsville Football – Pittsville opened CWC-Small play with a bang, thrashing Rosholt 41-0.
- D.C. Everest Boys Cross Country – The Everest Boys Cross Country Squad captured the title for DCE at the Marathon Cross Country Invitational.
