Medford Softball Blows out Antigo

The Medford Raider Softball team put on an offensive show in their 10-2 win over Antigo.

Medford got on the board first in the 3rd, starting with a 3-run home run from Tori Konieczny. Then Laney Hraby would single in Addison Brahmer, and Chelsea Gebauer would hit a double to drive in Hraby.

Konieczny wasn’t done; she would come back up in the 4th and hit a 2-RBI single.

After a scoreless 5th, Zaleah Leonhard would get Medford back on the board in the 6th with an RBI double. Then Konieczny would hit a sac fly as Finley Arndt scored.

The Raiders were not done in the 6th as Grace Schmidtfanz would come off the bench and get an RBI single. Gebauer would then get her second RBI single, scoring Brahmer.

Antigo would get on the board in the bottom of the 6th on a 2-run home run from Tristan Arlan, but Rylee Hraby would close the door after that, with some help from the Raiders’ second double play of the day.

Medford was led at the plate by Konieczny, who went 3-5 with a Home Run, 5 RBI, and a run scored. Rylee Hraby would go 3-4 with a double and 2 runs scored, Arndt would go 3-5 with 3 runs scored, Brahmer 2-4 with 2 runs scored, and Gebauer would add 2 RBI going 2-4.

Rylee Hraby would go the distance, giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits, 5 walks, and 6 strikeouts.

Antigo was led at the plate by Arlan, who went 1-2 with the HR and 2 RBI, and Breleigh Akright went 2-2 with 2 walks.

Bethany Lewis went the distance in the circle, giving up 10 earned runs on 17 hits, 2 walks, and 6 strikeouts.
