Merrill (OnFocus) – Multiple area athletes excelled for the Week of October 18 – 24, and in the reader voting for the Athlete of the Week, record numbers turned out to vote for the top performance.
In a race that came down to the wire, Merrill’s Elizabeth Schmidt was voted the OnFocus Athlete of the Week, picking up an amazing 4866 votes.
Taking second in the spirited contest was Andrew Scheer of Columbus Catholic with 4748 votes.
