Mesa, AZ Tops List of Cities with Lowest Interest in Dating Apps

  • New study reveals that the city where it’s hardest to date is Mesa, Arizona where people have the lowest interest in dating apps.
  • California stands out with four cities being on the list including San Jose, Fresno, San Diego and Sacramento.
  • New York is the most expensive city to date, with an average restaurant date costing $130 on average.
A recent study conducted by OffRobe analyzed over 35 US cities to find the ones where it’s most difficult to date. The study takes into account population factors such as single person households, median age and percentage of unmarried people in each city, with all data taken from the U.S. Census 2022. The study also provides the average restaurant date cost, taken from Numbeo reports and interest in dating apps, reflected in Google searches per capita and Google Trends analysis of general interest. The composite score is calculated based on all described criteria.
