Minor Injuries After 2-Vehicle Accident on State Highway 80

TOWNSHIP OF RICHFIELD, MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – At 0721 Thursday morning, Richfield Rural Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 80, involving a semi-truck and a car. The accident resulted in minor injuries.

Richfield E2, Squad 1, and T3, along with Marshfield Ambulance and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, arrived on scene by 0727. They found the car off-road, having collided with a tree, while the semi-truck was overturned.

Fortunately, all three individuals involved managed to exit the vehicles. Marshfield Ambulance evaluated them and found only minor injuries, with the individuals refusing ambulance transport.

Vehicle removal took some time, and units eventually cleared the scene by 0938. The incident highlights the importance of road safety and the swift response of emergency services.
