Spencer (OnFocus) – The Miss Spencerama pageant gives young ladies of Spencer the chance to represent the wonderful community of Spencer.
There are three levels of Miss Spencerama; Lil’ Miss for 4k to 2nd graders; Junior Miss for 3rd to 6th graders and Miss Spencerama for Freshman to Juniors. All Miss Spencerama levels who are crowned with this honor are involved in many community functions and activities during the year in which they reign. The Miss Spencerama pageant is organized by Spencer Cadette Girl Scout Troop 6158 and the Woman’s Club.
The judging event on August 17th consisted of each contestant presenting a talent and answering three questions in front of the judges. These young ladies sure have a lot of talent! There was singing, signing, Tae-Kwon-Do, arts & crafts, jokes, and children’s reading time.
Then during Music in the Park on August 19th, the coronation event took place. Lydia Nieman, the 2019-20 Miss Spencerama, crowned Jadyn Schober Lil’ Miss Spencerama, Kaydence Plaskey Junior Miss Spencerama, and Kaelyn Schreiner Miss Spencerama for 2020-21. Congratulations all contestants!
A big thank you goes out to Citizens Bank and Mark & Chris Frey for their donations to this year’s event!
