Marshfield (OnFocus) – Missing teen Kennedi Taylor has been found safe, according to her mother.

According to the post, Marshfield Police located Kennedi and she was found at a residence in Plover by Plover Police.

“She is safe and she is home with me,” Kennedi’s mother, Jennifer, wrote. “Thank you to EVERYONE who helped me find my daughter! Thank you to everyone that prayed or had kind words. I’m beyond proud and extremely grateful to call Marshfield my home town.”

According to Police Reports, Jennifer Taylor called and reported that her 13 year-old Marshfield daughter had gone voluntarily to a safe shelter in Stevens Point on 06/22/2020 . On 06/23/2020 she received a phone call from the shelter stating that her daughter had run away. Taylor wished to have her daughter entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

“My daughter Kennedi Taylor-Lockhart has run away again, this time from a runaway facility in Steven’s Point, WI. She left on foot at 11pm Tuesday. I was told she cut her hair off,” Jennifer wrote on Facebook. “This is the 6th time Kennedi has run. She’s HIGH RISK for meeting up with adult males and being trafficked/re-victimized so please please share this regardless of her voluntarily leaving. If anyone has family or friends in Point please ask them to share!!!! I’m worried sick, her whole family is. We need to find her.”

Kennedi is now safe at home.

“I’d like to thank the Marshfield Police Department first and foremost and Wood County CPS. I’m proud to call Marshfield my home,” said Jennifer. “It truly is a wonderful community. And last but not least, I’m thankful my daughter is as strong and as smart as she is, I’m so overjoyed she is home safe with me.”
