MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – This festive season, MMCCU (302 W Upham) extends an invitation to children for a heartwarming activity – decorating holiday greeting cards for residents of local nursing homes. A dedicated decorating table with art supplies will be available in the lobby of the credit union. Alternatively, parents can opt to pick up a card stock kit through the drive-thru during open hours. The generous donation of card stock by Premier Printing in Marshfield has made this creative endeavor possible.

“We wanted to do something to encourage the spirit of giving this holiday season,” said Stephanie Rasmussen, MMCCU. “We thought this would be a great way for kids to have fun and also to bring joy to local nursing home residents.”

Children who decorate three or more cards will have the chance to participate in a drawing for a MACCI gift certificate, with five winners selected. Members of the MMCCU Kids Rewards Club are encouraged to decorate three cards, earning an extra spin on the prize wheel.

Rasmussen emphasized, ‘Our Kids Rewards Club not only imparts financial knowledge to children in an enjoyable manner but also engages them in activities like this, fostering the joy of giving back!’

Decorated holiday cards should be returned to MMCCU by noon on December 8. The staff will then ensure the timely delivery of these cards to local nursing home residents later in the week.

Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) serves those who work in the healthcare field and their families. They are not affiliated with any specific healthcare facility, but rather serve those in a variety of medical fields. To learn more about membership, visit www.mmccu.com/membership.
