Solar Lending Certificate Program
MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – David Murphy, President at Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU), has completed the Solar Lending Professional Training certificate in consumer solar lending through the University of New Hampshire and Inclusiv. The certificate program provides training in all aspects of solar lending and offers tools for credit unions to engage in renewable energy finance.
Murphy has been a driving force behind MMCCU’s commitment to sustainability and renewable energy. He sees renewable energy finance as a natural fit for credit unions, as they are community-focused and can help consumers finance projects that not only save money but also benefit the environment.
“I’m thrilled to have completed the Solar Lending Professional Training certificate,” said David Murphy. “The knowledge and tools gained from this program will help me better serve our members and our community by providing access to financing for renewable energy projects.”
MMCCU is committed to sustainability and has already taken steps to reduce its carbon footprint, such as beginning the process of installing solar panels at their Marshfield headquarters. With Murphy’s completion of the Solar Lending Professional Training certificate, MMCCU is now equipped to offer renewable energy financing to its members.
