Mosinee Falls to Arrowhead

Mosinee traveled to The Rock Sports Complex in Franklin tonight to take on D1 powerhouse Arrowhead. The Indians would fall behind early 4-0 after 3 innings but fought their way back scoring 4 runs of their own in the next 3 innings. Arrowhead would put up 3 runs in the fifth following a couple Mosinee mistakes in the inning and that would be the final score 7-4.

The Indians had multi opportunities throughout the game stranding 11 base runners. They just couldn’t get that timely hit. Davin Stoffel got the start on the mound tossing 3 innings allowing 4 runs on 4 hits and walked 4 while striking out 2. Ethan Oatman finished the last 4 inning strong allowing just 3 hits, walked 4 and struck out 2 as well. Stoffel and Taylor Lemanski each had triples in the game. Sawyer Holtz, Cameron Ziebel and Grant Kuklinski had a hit each as well. Mosinee drops to 5-2 on the season and look to bounce back tomorrow as they take on another top ranked D1 team, Hudson at 11:30 and then face New Berlin West at 2pm.
