Mosinee traveled south to take on the top ranked team in Division 1, and came away with a doubleheader sweep of Pewaukee by scores of 2-1 and 5-3.
Mosinee took game 1 against the number 1 team in D2 Pewaukee 2-1! Keagan Jirschele got the win on the mound throwing 4-1/3 innings striking out 4 and walking four. Trevor Garski got the save throwing the final 1-2/3 innings walking one. Jirschele also had a hit with an RBI.
The Mosinee Indians complete the sweep of Pewaukee 5-3! Davin Stoffel got the win on the mound throwing 4-1/3 stiking out 4 and walked 2. Gavin Obremski got the save tossing the final 2-2/3 striking out 2 walking 2. Keagen Jirschele had 2 hits including a double and 3 runs scoredb. Taylor Lemanski jacked a triple with bases loaded and added a sac fly for 4 RBI on the game. Shawn Bryant added a double as well. Mosinee improves to 15-2 on the season and will host Tomahawk on Tuesday for a conference match up.
