Mosinee Boys Drop NC Decision to Brillion
Mosinee vs. Brillion: Lost 46-56
The Mosinee boys’ basketball team traveled to Brillion for a non-conference game. Brillion proved to be too much for Mosinee tonight, as they made it very difficult to score. Mosinee would go into half down by two, with Brillion leading 27-25. They were led in scoring by Brayden Reinke with 10 points, Carson Balgord with 5 points, Mitch Michlig with 4 points, Treve Stoffel with 4 points, and Gavin Chmiel with 2 points.
Mosinee would have difficulty with Brillion’s defense in the second half. Brillion would pressure the ball and create turnovers to push their lead to ten points. Once Brillion got the lead, they were able to keep long offensive possessions to keep Mosinee from scoring. Brillion would be too much for Mosinee and win the game 56-46. Mosinee was led in scoring by Braydon Reinke with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 1 steal. Treve Stoffel would add 11 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 block. Carson Balgord provided the team with 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Mitch Michlig had 5 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Gavin Chmiel would round out the scoring with 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
