Mosinee Boys Run Past Wisconsin Rapids

Mosinee traveled to Wisconsin Rapids for a non-conference match-up. Mosinee got out to a quick start scoring 7 straight points, forcing Rapids to call a timeout and they responded by hitting a three on Mosinee. Mosinee would continue to work the ball inside between Davin Stoffel and Trenton Dorn. Mosinee would take a 32 to 21 lead into the locker room. Wisconsin Rapids would make three triples in the first half to Mosinee’s two three-pointers.

In the first 12 possessions of the second-half Rapids scored 8 points on 2 threes and a bucket with Mosinee forcing 4 turnovers to increase their lead 46-29 during that time frame. Both Mosinee and Wisconsin Rapids would hit 4 three’s a piece in the second-half. Kyle Miller would get a steal and go on a fast break with Stoffel trailing, Miller would throw the ball off the glass to Stoffel for the two-handed dunk. Mosinee goes on to win 72-47.
