Mosinee vs. Tomahawk Won: 94-26
The Mosinee Boys Basketball team traveled north to Tomahawk for a Friday night conference game. Mosinee would win the contest 94-26. This was an exciting game with great defense that led to some nice offensive output as many of the Mosinee boys were able to contribute. Mosinee was led in scoring tonight by Keagen Jirschele with 20 points, 6 assists, 6 steals, 4 rebounds while hitting two 3’s. Landen Thomer contributed 18 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals while hitting one 3. Treve Stoffel added 13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. Aidan Shaughnessy added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block while hitting one 3. Garrett Shupe added 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists while hitting two 3’s. Andrew Carlson added 8 points and 1 block while hitting two 3’s. David Haskin had 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist.
Cole Kowalski added 4 points, 4 assists and 2 steals. Mitch Michlig added 3 points and 2 rebounds. Gavin Chmiel added 2 points while going 2 for 2 at the free throw line. This was a great day for all the Mosinee boys basketball team. The Mosinee varsity team is now 4-0 in conference and 10-1 overall. The JV team won 75-33 and the JV2 team won 63-14. All the teams will travel next Tuesday to play a tough conference team in Rhinelander.
