HAYWARD, WI (OnFocus) – The Mosinee Indians made the trip north to take on Hayward in Great Northern Conference football action on Friday night. The Indians made quick work of Hayward as they pulled out a 47-7 victory.
Senior Trevor Garski led the Indian offense as he racked up 316 yards passing on 17 completions and added six touchdowns. He posted a perfect passer rating of 158.3 completing all of his 17 passes.
Junior Davin Stoffel led Mosinee in receiving as he three balls for 101 yards and a touchdown. Evan Utphall recorded 91 yards and a touchdown receiving on three catches while Keagan Jirschele caught two balls for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
Wyatt Harris led Mosinee in rushing with three carries for 17 yards and a score.
Mosinee moves to 2-1 on the season after dropping a 14-7 game to Stratford to start the season and beating Racine St. Catherine’s last week.
The Indians will face Merrill and Ashland over the next two weeks in two more conference matchups.
Hayward drops to 0-3 on the season after dropping games to Osceola and Spooner earlier in the year.
