Voting for the OnFocus Athlete of the Week, October 23 – October 29 was a runaway race for the title, as Keagan Jirschele of Mosinee Football collected 239 votes.
Klare Pilger and Jocelyn Trzebiatowski of Stevens Point Girls Swimming took second place with 184 votes.

OnFocus Athlete of the Week, October 23 – October 29
- Sara Mlodik, D.C. Everest Girls Cross Country – Mlodik is a state champion, winning the Division 1 Girls race at the WIAA State Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon, in a time of 18:06.6.
- Karter Butt, Edgar Football – The junior once again came up big for the Wildcats, rushing for 143 yards on 26 carries, and had touchdown runs of 4 and 14 yards in Edgarś 15-8 win over Spring Valley in Level 2 of the WIAA Playoffs. Butt was a major defensive force on defense as well, collecting 11 solo tackles and 3 assisted tackles.
- Owen Clark, Lakeland Union Boys Cross Country – Clark represented area Division 2 runners well, taking third place at the WIAA State Division 2 Cross Country Meet on Saturday.
- Keagan Jirschele, Mosinee Football – Jirschele was a difference maker Friday evening, and despite the visiting Rice Lake Warriors doing everything they could to not allow the elusive athlete to impact the game, Jirschele had a busy night. Jirschele returned an interception 52 yards for a score to give Mosinee an early 7-6 lead, and then scored on four pass receptions from quarterback Gavin Obremski. Keagan had 10 catches for 158 yards to go along with his five touchdowns in the 42-33 loss.
- Klare Pilger / Jocelyn Trzebiatowski, SPASH Girls Swimming – Trzebiatowski(200 freestyle, 500 freestyle) and Pilger(100 freestyle, 100 backstroke) each had a pair of wins for the Panthers, and were members of the Panthers´ 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay teams at the WVC Girls Swim Meet on Thursday.
