Mosinee Hangs on to Defeat DC Everest

Mosinee (OnFocus) – Mosinee led 33-24 at the half and went on to earn a 76-64 nonconference win over DC Everest.

The visitors from DC Everest would get on the board first when Ben Prunuske would receive a jump pass from Marcus Hall. Mosinee would respond with a layup of their own from Davin Stoffel. DC Everest and Mosinee would trade blow for blow for the first minutes when Mosinee would start to pull away.

Davin Stoffel would throw down 2 two-handed dunks in the first half as Mosinee would take a 33-24 lead into the locker room after giving up 2 offensive rebounds on 2 separate trips in which Everest would score a bucket on each.  Marcus Hall would put the Evergreens on his back in the second-half to try to bring them back into the game as he put 18 of his 27 points in the half.

Mosinee would go up by as much as 18 points though in the second-half. Stoffel would throw down another slam, as Mosinee cruised to a 76-64 win over DC Everest.
