Mosinee Holds Off Lakeland

Mosinee traveled to Minocqua to play Lakeland Union in Great Northern Conference action, picking up a 60-49 victory.
Mosinee got on the board first when Kyle Miller made his first three-pointer of three on the night thirty seconds into the game. Both Lakeland and Mosinee would fire from deep combining for 16 made threes on the night.
Two players from each team would make 3 triples on the night, Carter Quade and Will Fortier of Lakeland along with Drake Grod and Kyle Miller of Mosinee. Keagen Jirschele would make a three for Mosinee and Ryan Carlson of Lakeland would make 2 and Layton Larsen would also make one on the night.
Mosinee would jump out to an 11 point half-time lead, that would be the point differential in this one as Mosinee goes on to stay unbeaten in Great Northern Conference at 4-0, and move to 11-1 on the season.
Trenton Dorn of Mosinee would lead all scorers with 19 points while going 5 of 8 from the free-throw line. Kyle Miller would add 15 points while Drake Grod contributed 13 points. Davin Stoffel would add 6 hard fought points for Mosinee while Keagen Jirschele finished with 5 points and Evan Utphall made a pair of free throws.
Lakeland was led in scoring by Will Fortier with 12 points while going 1 of 2 from the line. Brayden Wiczek added 11 points and was also 1 of 2 from the line. Carter Quade finished with 9 points, 8 points for Ryan Carlson, 5 points for Layton Larsen, and 4 points for Gary Timm.
