Mosinee hosted Kaukauna for a big non conference matchup. The Indians came out on fire in the first inning scoring 4 runs with a lead off Homerun by Keagen Jirschele followed by three straight doubles by Taylor Lemanski, Gavin Obremski, and Davin Stoffel. And a fourth double of the inning by Sawyer Holtz topped off Mosinee’s hot start. That would be all starting pitcher Garrett Shupe would need in the 5-2 victory.

Shupe tossed 6 innings striking out 8 and walked none. Lemanski pitched the final inning to earn the save striking out 1. The Indians improve to 19-2 on the season. Mosinee will play on Tuesday at 7:00 at Athletic Park in Wausau against Waupaca.
