Mosinee Takes Down Wautoma

The Indians got to play at Neuroscience Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton against Wautoma. The game started slow as Mosinee took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning on a Sawyer Holtz ground out. Wautoma would tie it up in the bottom of 4th at 1. But Mosinee would answer with 3 runs in the top of the fifth going up 4-1. Wautoma answered with a run in the 6th making it 4-2, but in the top of the seventh the Indians bats lit on fire plating 10 runs in the inning on 8 hits against Wautoma’s top pitcher.

Gavin Obremski commanded the mound tonight tossing 6 innings, striking out 7 and walked none. Blake Nichols threw the final inning striking out 1. Keagen Jirschele had the hot bay tonight tallying 4 hits including a triple, double and 3 RBIs. Grant Kuklinski had 2 hits of his own and Obremski and Taylor Lemanski added double to the night.  Cameron Ziebell, Brady Lolken, and Davin Stoffel each had a hit as well.  The Indians improved to 16-2 on the season  and will travel to Antigo tomorrow for a 5:00 game. If Mosinee wins they will secure a share of the Great Northern Conference title.
