Mosinee Volleyball Takes Third at 40 Team UW-Stout Invitational

Menominee (OnFocus) – After Mosinee dominated in pool play Friday  at the UW-Stout Invitational, the Indians advanced to the top 8, Gold Division, for the chance to compete with the best of the best. Mosinee downed St. Croix Central 25-18, 25-22 to advance to the semifinals before falling in its semifinal matchup with Chippewa Falls.

Mosinee took took the opening set with Chi Hi, 29-27 before falling 25-20 and 15-7.

Mosinee then claimed third place with a 25-23 25-18 win over Saint Croix Falls. The win avenged a loss to Falls in last year’s semifinal.

Mosinee improved to 9-1 on the season.
