- Assumption Girls and Middle School Boys/Girls Cross Country – The Assumption Girls and boys/girls middle school cross country teams came away with the title at their opening race, the Freedom Invite.
- Stratford Football – Stratford and Edgar engaged in another classic, this time as nonconference rivals, but the result was another tight game. Noah Barrett’s fourth quarter gave the Tigers a 9-8 win.
- Auburndale Boys Cross Country – Auburndale took the top spot at their opening meet of the season, the Pittsville Invite.
- Colby Football – The Hornets made a statement Saturday in their nonconference matchup with Spencer/Columbus. Colby’s 38-0 pasting of S/C served notice that Colby’s offense and defense make Colby a threat for any opponent.
- Mosinee Volleyball – Mosinee dominated in pool play to advance to the top 8 at UW-Stout’s Volleyball Invitational on Friday. Mosinee then advanced to the semfinals of the Gold(top 8 bracket) with an opening win before falling in the semfinals.
