Voting for the top performer saw three area athletes top 175 votes.
Picking up the title as OnFocus Athlete of the Week, January 22 to January 28 was Caden Schmirler of Mosinee Boys Hockey, collecting 254 votes.
Owen-Withee Boys Basketball’s Logan Amacher finished in second, with 180 votes.
Taking third place was Auburndale Girls Basketball’s Annamarie Aue, picking up 175 votes.

OnFocus Athlete of the Week, January 22 to January 28
- Annamarie Aue, Auburndale Girls Basketball – Aue reached the 1000 Point Career Mark this week, as the Eagles picked up big wins over Marawood Conference rivals Assumption(42-40) and Newman Catholic(53-45).
- Caden Schmirler, Mosinee Boys Hockey – Schmirler had a hat trick this week in Mosinee’s 6-3 win over Northland Pines, and had two goals in another win over Pines, 6-4.
- Logan Amacher, Owen-Withee Boys Basketball – Amacher reached the 1000 point career mark, netting 18 points in the Blackhawks’ win over Gilman.
- Brooks Hinson, Marshfield Boys Basketball – Hinson poured in 35 points as the Tigers defeated Chippewa Falls, 80-68. Hinson was 18 of 22 from the floor, including 7 of 9 from three-point territory, and made 6 of 8 free throws.
- Lauryn Goettl, Cadott Girls Basketball – Goettl reached the 1000 point career mark this past week, scoring 34 points in a game with Osseo-Fairchild.
