Names Released in Marathon County Double Homicide

Marathon County Sheriff Scott R. Parks today issued an update on the double homicide in Marathon County. Parks also shared the Probable Cause Statement, which can be viewed here (warning: graphic descriptive content). This document is public record.

According to the statement, the investigation continues into the deadly stabbing that occurred on April 7, 2020, at 121625 County Road P, Stratford, Wisconsin. This address is located in the Township of Cleveland, Marathon County.

On April 7, 2020, at 8:53 a.m., the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and Stratford Police Department responded to a call of a stabbing at the above listed address. There were four occupants of the residence at the time of the stabbing.

Two biological brothers, both adults, were found stabbed. Michael Louis Stone, DOB 8/1/96, was deceased on scene and William Raymond Stone, DOB 7/3/00, was transported to a local hospital where he later died from injuries he sustained from the stabbing. Jason Eugene Noll, DOB 11/2/95, called 911 after finding Michael and William injured.

The suspect, who is Jason’s biological brother, Brandon Dwayne Noll, DOB of 7/8/1997, remains in custody. The Stone brothers lived at the above address with their biological mother. The Noll brothers live at the same address with their biological father.

The investigation is ongoing. No other details of the case will be released at this time. Autopsies were completed on April 8, 2020. An initial appearance is scheduled for April 17, 2020 at 2p.m., at the Marathon County Court House.

“Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of the victims,” said Parks.
