NEILLSVILLE, WI (OnFocus) – Nate Heeg’s Thrivent office is proud to have played a role in supporting Veterans during an event this August. On August 4th, the office assisted with the lunch at the Vietnam Veterans Reunion, providing a welcoming and nourishing meal for the attendees. Additionally, the team supplied “snack packs” for riders participating in the 40th Annual Heroes Ride Bike Tour.
The Heroes Ride Bike Tour, one of Wisconsin’s largest and most respected rides, sees over 100 riders from five different routes across the state converging at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ride, making it the longest-running and most successful annual fundraiser for The Highground.
The ride is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a mission to support Veterans and their families. Participants, including both riders and support personnel (SAG), join forces to contribute to The Highground’s ongoing efforts to provide crucial support and resources for those who have served our country. The Highground’s offerings include PTS/PTSD programs, Veterans Retreats, and the serene environment of the park itself, providing a place of peace and reflection.
“We’re honored to be a part of this meaningful event,” said Nate Heeg, Financial Advisor. “Supporting our Veterans is a cause close to our hearts, and we are committed to contributing to their well-being through our involvement in the community.”
