The 2022 NBA Draft will take place Thursday, June 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Barclays Center in Brooklyn will be the home of the NBA Draft for the 9th consecutive year.

You can watch the first round of the draft live on both ABC and ESPN. ESPN will continue coverage for the second round.

The Orlando Magic won the NBA Draft Lottery on May 17 to secure the first-overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Q: How many picks are in the NBA Draft?
There are only 58 picks this year instead of the traditional 60. Chicago and Miami both forfeited second-round picks due to a violation of league rules governing the timing of free agency discussions.
Q: What players are eligible to be drafted?
The main rule of thumb for an eligible player is that they must be 19 years of age by the date of said draft. NCAA players are considered eligible after playing at least one year at their respective college/university or school.
Another way to be eligible for the draft is having signed and played with an outside league other than the NBA itself, such as the NBA G League, Overtime Elite (OTE) or playing overseas, while still meeting the age and duration of play requirement as listed above.
