NCAA footprint at the Olympics: More than 1,100 current, former and incoming NCAA athletes are competing at Paris Games

The NCAA’s influence at the Paris 2024 Olympics is substantial, with over 1,200 current, former and incoming student-athletes across all three divisions competing for 125 teams and countries. In total, 251 NCAA schools from nearly 60 conferences will be represented at the Olympics.

Team USA’s roster includes 385 current, former and incoming student-athletes from NCAA championship and emerging sports. This group makes up 65% of the entire U.S. Olympic roster and includes 14 teams made up entirely of NCAA student-athletes, underscoring the NCAA’s role in providing valuable training grounds for current and future Olympians. Outside the U.S., more than 800 NCAA athletes will be competing for a chance for gold for countries and teams across the world.

Based on the most recent data, below are some other notable highlights from the NCAA’s comprehensive Olympic qualifier dashboard. This dashboard provides filters by NCAA sport, Olympic sport, country, school and conference. There is also a coach tab that tracks Olympic coaches with NCAA connections. Both will be updated twice a week before and during the Games.
